Probably Not. Every year, over 15 lakh students complete engineering in India. Approximately 97% of those students end up unemployed despite having a decent education.

This is because there is a huge gap between what corporations want and what college education has to offer. Career Accelerators Launchpad aims to bridge this gap with a carefully curated curriculum designed by industry leaders with many decades of experience in top-notch software product companies.

About Career Accelerators

Career Accelerators was founded in 2022 by Sikhar Saikia, an Ex- Amazonian and industry leader with two decades of industry experience. We started with a mission to provide senior IT leaders with a career transformation and have so far successfully mentored 50+ engineering leaders. The average experience of this cohort is 16 years (ranging from 10-24 years) and the mentees include Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, HoD and CTOs of different IT companies. In 2023, we helped generate job offers worth 3.85 crores for our mentees and helped two HOD-level promotions.

What is Career Launchpad

A first-of-its-kind unique training program designed from a cumulative experience of 50+ years in top IT companies in the world. It’s a curriculum with the right blend of theory and practice that will leave its participants with the knowledge and skills needed to crack top interviews and build the foundation of a successful IT career ahead.

Goals of Career Launchpad

At the end of the training program, the following goals should be achieved. The participants should

1. Acquire the growth mindset of a winner.
2. Acquire a solid grasp of the principles for effective verbal and written communication and enhance their soft skills.
3. Get exposure to the interview processes in the top IT companies in both technical and non-technical terms.
4. Get trained in problem-solving and coding best practices through coaching, mock sessions and assignments.
5. Acquire the skills necessary for creating their digital presence along with a 4-step job application strategy that will give them an undue advantage over others.
6. Be able to create a Vision Doc and a long-term strategy roadmap for their career.

Mode of Delivery and Duration

The training will be conducted live in small batches of 20-25 students. The mode will be a combination of Online and Offline sessions which will be delivered in a weekly fashion. The typical duration is around 6 weeks.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

The participants should be preferably from the final or pre-final years of engineering or BCA. Participants need to have a foundational knowledge of computer science with an understanding of basic programming constructs such as data structures and algorithms. Participants should be able to devote approx. 4-6 hours during the week for completing the assignments and have a keen interest in learning and leveraging this opportunity. Career Accelerators may conduct a screening test to shortlist eligible candidates.

After Completion

Participants completing the training will get the following

1. A completion certificate from Career Accelerators for the Career Launchpad program.
